На День вишиванки тендітна дівоча фігура стоїть на площі.
Осторонь дітей і дорослих, що фарбують візерунок на площі.

Можна вирішити, що дівчина фотографує свято, але фігура не тримала камеру.
При собі мала мікрофон.

Це - Катерина. Вона зі Славутича, навчається в Чехії.

Один з її проєктів - звуки нашого міста, звуки Славутича.

Звук без зображення допомагає зосередитись, відчути гостріше рідне місто, до якого звик.

Славутич прагне безбар’єрності, в якій розуміння іншого сприйняття світу є важливим для гармонійного співіснування.
Чому саме звук?

- Я навчаюсь і працюю з візуальною частиною, тому звук для мене - це виклик. Зрозуміти інші почуття, інакше документувати та фіксувати. Це має бути фільм про Славутич, але не візуальний.

Кіно наосліп?
- Можна й так сказати. Хочу, щоб завдяки тільки звуку людина могла зрозуміти де вона знаходиться, що відбувається.
Хочу зафіксувати як звучить Славутич під час війни. Це мій дім, де б я не була - там я іноземка, і мені важливо показати звідки я. - розповідає Катерина.

- я наче збираю Славутич і переношу, беру його з собою, де зможу показати іншим людям додає мисткиня — додає дівчина.

Звуки міста, в час війни, які вони, як Славутич карбує звуковий краєвид?

- Це ж дім, перш за все - звуки того як мама готує найсмачнішу їжу у світі, розмови на кухні, звуки ранкового косіння трави, дітей, центру міста. 
Катерина каже, що війну чутно непрямо - сирени, тривожність і розмови, розмови між людьми, проживання досвіду спротиву міста. Люди досі це проживають в бесідах.
За її відчуттям, Славутич став тихіше. - Це тиша тривожності.

Катерина працює в мистецьких колах і там Славутич знають. За численними фестивалями, які проходили в місті до війни.

Саме після фестивалю Кіно та урбаністики Катерина зацікавилась кінематографією.

Сприйняття окремими елементами загострює відчуття, Катерина каже, що важко сказати який Славутич на дотик, але на запах він - "Як нагріті сосни влітку".

Як молоді, яка мріє творити, фіксувати вчитись робити це якісно, сучасно?

- Багато дивитись. Кіно, фотографії, альбоми. Це те, що називають - "надивленість". Досвід, який просто стає власною натурою - пояснює художниця як трансформувати фестивалі в власні здобутки. - і додає, - ще в Молодіжному просторі багато цікавого для навичок, я там не буваю, але друзі мої там двіжують.

- Звуки ми складаємо в слова. І, думаю, що слово, яке б описало місто це - Унікальність, - Катерина додає, що іншого такого міста за його історією, архітектурою, атмосферою не існує.

На думку документалістки зараз місту бракує мистецьких подій, зараз з масштабних є ЗОСя, а це такі події, які приваблюють людей до міста.

Культура і мистецтво під час війни важливі. На думку Катерини — “Це є відображенням подій, того, що відбувається навколо нас, реакція суспільства на події, і я дуже рада, що українська культура лунає, нас відрізняють від російської.”

Авторка проєкту додає: - Мені дуже важливо показати місто європейській спільноті, світу.

Тому що якщо воно звучить, значить воно живе.

This is Kateryna. She is from Slavutych, studies in the Czech Republic.
One of their projects is the sounds of our city, the sounds of Slavutych.

To feel the native city to which you are accustomed, which you know through one channel of information, to feel acutely.

Slavutych strives for barrierless environment, in which understanding other perceptions of the world is important for harmonious coexistence.

So why the sound?

- I study and work with the visual part, so sound is a challenge for me. Understand other feelings, document and understand differently. It should be a film about Slavutych, but not a visual one.

Cinema blind?

- You can say that. I want a person to be able to understand where he is and what is happening thanks to the sound.
I want to record how Slavutych sounds during the war. This is my home, wherever I am - I'm a foreigner there, and it's important for me to show where I'm from. - says Kateryna.

- it's like I collect Slavutych and carry it, I take it with me where I can show it to other people, adds the artist.

What are the sounds of the city during the war, how does Slavutych carve a soundscape?

- This is home, first of all - the sounds of mom cooking the most delicious food in the world, conversations in the kitchen, the sounds of morning grass mowing, children, the city center.
Kateryna says that in relation to the war, it can be heard indirectly - sirens, anxiety and conversations, conversations between people, the experience of living in the resistance of the city. People still live it in conversations.
According to her feeling, Slavutych became quieter. - This is the silence of anxiety.

Kateryna works in art circles and they know Slavutych there. According to numerous festivals that took place in the city before the war.

It was after the Cinema and Urbanism Festival 86 that Kateryna became interested in cinema.

The perception of individual elements sharpens the feeling, Kateryna says that it is difficult to tell which Slavutych is to the touch, but to the smell it is "Like pines" in summer.

How can young people who dream of creating, recording learn to do it in a high-quality, modern way?

- to look a lot. Movies, photos, albums. This is what is called "surprise". An experience that simply becomes one's own nature - the artist explains how to transform festivals into one's own achievements. - and adds, - the Youth Space also has a lot of interesting things for skills, I don't go there, but my friends go there.

- We put sounds into words. And I think that the word that would describe this city is Uniqueness, - Kateryna adds that there is no other such city in terms of its history, architecture, and atmosphere.

According to the documentarian, the city currently lacks artistic events, now there are large-scale exhibitions, and these are the kinds of events that attract people to the city.

Culture and art are important during wartime. In Kateryna's opinion, this is a reflection of events, what is happening around us, society's reaction to events, and I am very glad that Ukrainian culture is heard, that we are distinguished from Russian.
The author of the project adds: - It is very important for me to show the city to the European community, to the world.

Because if it sounds, then it lives.
